The ubiquitous villa projects that replicate the one or two villa types as block prints across the land was of no interest to us. We worked out a scheme for eleven villas that would allow for the skin and its modulation in the front to give a variety of outside spaces and scales. Each villa would be a bit different to give it an identity. Successful in design but not as a business since the developer had to look at each villa as a separate entity and therefore no repetition. A challenge still has been out of our reach.
