The Research and Development block (nano technology) for the Jain University is designed as a building with a central womb that nurtures and allows for growth through it becoming a part of your every movement within the building. The skin of this womb through the floors gives rise to various scales of terraces which are inter connected so that the entire building though designed as three separate units work as one. This space is envisioned as the interactive space which allows for discussions away from the direct lab research and also gives the environment a feel unlike other high end research labs of being sterile closed and silent spaces.
